7. How to Request Deletion

1. Email: support@aqabalist.com with subject “Data Deletion Request”
2. Provide account email, username, listing IDs, and data to delete
3. Verification: confirm account ownership
4. Processing: deletion within 30 days (or sooner)
5. Confirmation: email sent with deletion summary and retained data for legal reasons

Note: deletion requests are forwarded to third-party processors (Google, Meta) where applicable.

8. Security

• Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL)
• Staff access controls and least privilege
• Regular security testing and updates
• Hashed passwords and secure authentication

We comply with legal breach notifications and promptly inform affected users.

9. International Transfers

AqabaList operates from Jordan and may process data in other countries using safeguards like standard contractual clauses or provider assurances.

10. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. Contact us to request deletion if discovered.
